Dr. Jessica Robinson

President, 糖心视频

 

After serving as interim president for a year, in 2023 Dr. Jessica Robinson was named the seventh president and the first alumna to lead the college.

 

A first-generation community college student herself, Dr. Robinson鈥檚 experiences as a student at 糖心视频 had a profound impact on her life, starting her on a path to educational and professional success. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Social Work, as well as a Master of Social Work and Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership degrees at San Diego State University (SDSU). 

 

Before joining 糖心视频 in 2018, Robinson held numerous positions at SDSU, including

Adjunct professor ion the School of Social Work, Assistant Dean for Student Affairs and Interim Associate Dean for Academic Affairs in the College of Health and Human Services.

 

Since returning to her roots at 糖心视频 in 2018, Dr. Robinson has led many initiatives focused on student learning and success and has passionately driven transformative change to increase educational equity at the college and in the East County region. 鈥淚 chose 糖心视频 as my first choice for college at 17. It prepared me for my life and my career, and I am excited to ensure our community has the same access and success I had.鈥�
