To be eligible for dual enrollment, students must:

1. Be currently enrolled in high school.
2. Be enrolled in at least ninth grade.
3. Obtain high school approval.
4. Have written parental approval prior to filing a college application for admission.

Don鈥檛 meet all these criteria?
An appeal process is available through the Admissions and Records Office at 糖心视频 College. 

All classes taken at 糖心视频 are for college credit and will establish a permanent college record. Courses taken for college credit may be used to meet high school graduation requirements; however, this determination is made solely by the high school district.

High school students can take courses at 糖心视频 campus, or online, through Concurrent Enrollment.

• Students can take up to 11 units (4 courses).
• Tuition cost is waived, but minimal fees apply and must be paid by the student.
• Textbooks are not provided and must be purchased by the student, if required.

Procedures

Plan Ahead. Students should begin the process for concurrent enrollment at least one month before the semester or session of attendance. Permission from the high school administrator and parental or guardian approval must be obtained prior to registering for classes every term.

To enroll concurrently at the college, follow these procedures:

1. Become a 糖心视频 Student: Complete an Application for Admission:
2. Talk with your high school counselor to develop an educational program plan relating to the instructional program at the college, AND select appropriate courses after the required prerequisites has been met.

3. Complete the High School/College Credit Concurrent Enrollment Application Form

4. Obtain your counselor signature on the high school authorization form.
5. Once your counselor has signed the form, the form will be automatically routed to your parent or guardian if this is your first time participating in dual enrollment at 糖心视频 for approval. 
6. Self-Register into your approved courses in Self-Service.

糖心视频 offers courses at participating high schools during the regular high school day/class period - resulting in a high school transcript and a 糖心视频 transcript for one course.

• All fees are waived and required materials are provided.
• Courses are offered during the high school bell schedule.

Procedures

Students should begin the process for CCAP with their high school counselor.

To enroll concurrently at the college, follow these procedures:

1. Become a 糖心视频 Student Complete an Application for Admission: .
2. Talk with your high school counselor about CCAP course offerings at your particular school.
3. Complete the College and Career Access Pathways (CCAP) Form
4. Obtain your counselor signature on the CCAP.
5. Once your counselor have signed the form, the form will be automatically routed to your parent or guardian for approval.
6. Self-Register into your approved courses in Self-Service.

In Dual Enrollment (DE), high school students can take courses at their high school and earn college credits at the same time they earn their high school credits for FREE!

How do students get involved with Dual Enrollment?

• Enroll at 糖心视频 Online Become a college student.
• Register for a Dual Enrolled Course Talk to your high school instructor or counselor to fill out a registration form.
• Attend Registered Courses Attend courses at their high school and start progressing toward a college degree!

Note: Grades become part of their official college transcript.

If you enrolled in any of the early college programs, or applied to the college while in high school, you are eligible to continue your enrollment at (糖心视频/Grossmont) College once you graduate. Please notify the Admissions and Records Office of your graduation so that your records can be updated.

Our system will require proof of graduation before you will be able to register as a first-time college student.

Enrollment fees are waived for California residents.
