Petitions

The petitions committee meets every Tuesday afternoon. To be considered at the same week's meeting, all petitions need to be submitted by 5 pm on Friday via email. Submissions received after this deadline will be addressed in the following week's meeting.

Petition-Academic Renewal
- Removing a foreign degree from your transcript: Students seeking to remove a foreign degree from their transcript must first contact the awarding institution for a letter of non-attendance/confirmation no degree was earned or official transcript. If a student receives no response from the awarding institution within 30 days, student may submit a petition. Petition must include the following:
  - Proof of attempts to contact awarding institution; AND
  - Affidavit of Educational Status

Petition for Reinstatement of California College Promise Grant (CCPG - Formerly BOG)/Enrollment Priority

Please note: If you are a part of a categorical program (DSPS, EOPS, CalWorks) it is required that you fill out the Program Verification form below and submit with your petition for reinstatement of California Promise Grant (formerly BOG) or enrollment priority.

Update Major

Students needing to change their major must meet with a counselor to complete the major change process. Major changes submitted prior to census will go into effect for the current term; major changes submitted after census will have an effective date of the subsequent term. Keep in mind, students may only change their major once during each semester. Counselors are available in various programs:

General Counseling
EOPS, NextUp!, Up!, CARE: Services for students who are economically disadvantaged and foster youth
DSPS : Support for students with disabilities
CalWORKs: Services for CalWORKs recipients attending 糖心视频
Veterans Center: Services for military affiliated students
: Students currently enrolled in a STEM major
Athletic Counseling: Students who are current athletes at 糖心视频
Umoja Program: Students that identify as Black, African, and/or African American
Rising Scholars: Students impacted by the justice system

Enrollment Verifications

糖心视频 authorized the National Student Clearinghouse to provide enrollment and degree verifications. The verifications can be presented to health insurance agencies, housing authorities, consumer product companies, banks, etc., when asked to provide official evidence of enrollment at 糖心视频.

All parties wishing to verify student enrollment or degree attainment are encouraged to contact the National Student Clearinghouse for expedited service. You can obtain an official EnrollVerify Certificate at any time via the site at:

Click on the green "Order- Track- Verify" button and select "Verify Degrees, Enrollment and Certification".
Click on "Verify Now" and follow the prompts.
Print or download your enrollment certificate.

Full-Time/Part-Time status

For purposes of enrollment verification the following table defines enrollment status at 糖心视频:

Full-Time	12 units or more	6 units or more
Part-Time	6 - 11 units	3 - 5 units

Cal Grant GPA Submission

College students with 16 or more completed units:

糖心视频 Admissions and Records Office will automatically submit GPA data for students with 16 or more completed college-level units. You do not have to do anything aside from making sure all of your official transcripts have been submitted to the Admissions and Records Office for evaluations and unit calculation. All official transcripts must be submitted by February 13th.

College students with less than 16 completed units:

GPA data should be submitted by the student's high school for students who are in high school or who are high school graduates and who have completed less than 16 college-level college units. Please contact your high school or visit CSAC's website, for the GPA/GED Verification form and more information.
GED test scores should be submitted by the student for students who passed the GED test and who have completed less than 16 college-level college units. Please visit CSAC's website, for the GPA/GED Verification form and more information.

Q:	Why can't I open the form?
A:	Please be sure you have the latest version of Adobe Reader. Please visit
Q:	I tried updating and it still won't let me open the form.
A:	Try downloading the form manually. To do so right click on "Save Link As..." and save a copy of the PDF on your desktop.
Q:	Why won't the form let me submit it electronically?
A:	Please be sure you picked the appropriate option. If you do not have a Desktop Email Application like Microsoft Outlook, please use the Internet Email option. This will save the completed PDF form onto your computer that you can send as an attachment. Please be sure to send it by email to the appropriate department/staff person.
