AB540
AB540 allows eligible undocumented, legal permanent resident and U.S. citizen students to pay in-state tuition at public colleges and universities.
- Attended high school in California for three or more years.
- Graduated from a California high school or attained equivalent such as High School Equivalency Certificate issued by the CA State GED office or Certificate of Proficiency, resulting from the California High School Proficiency Examination.
- Registration as an entering student or current enrollment at an accredited institution of higher education in CA.

AB540 es una exenciﾃｳn del pago de la matrﾃｭcula no-estatal a la California State University y California Community Colleges para ciertos estudiantes que no son residentes de California (inclusive estudiantes indocumentados). Para ser eligible para aplicar al AB 540, los estudiantes deben:
- Haber asistido a una preparatoria de California por 3 o maﾌ《 anﾌバs.
- Haberse graduado de una preparatoria de California o tener el equivalente al diploma de preparatoria (GED)

SB 68
- Expands AB540/AB 2000 to exempt students from out-of-state tuition fees. Makes students eligible to apply for the CA Dream Act.
- Attend three years of full-time or the equivalent credits at a CA High School, Adult School, Community College (credit or noncredit), or any combination of the above; OR meet eligibility for AB 2000.
- Graduate from a CA high school, obtain a GED in CA, attain an Associate's degree from a CCC or fulfill their minimum transfer requirements for UC or CSU.
- Not possess a valid non-immigrant visa (unless a T or U visa).

SB 68
- Permite a los estudiantes contar los aﾃｱos que pasaron en un colegio comunitario de California y la educaciﾃｳn de adultos para la elegibilidad de AB 540.
