Resources for Immigrant Students in Education (RISE Program)
The RISE Program is designed to assist students who are AB540 due to immigration status or who participate in the California Dream Act or the DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) programs or who have undocumented status. In addition to EOPS and/or CARE services, students are eligible for counseling case management, personalized financial aid assistance, resource referrals, mentoring, life skills workshops, and cohort-building events and orientations.
El programa de RISE asiste a los estudiantes quienes forman parte de AB 540 debido a su estatus migratorio y/o participan en el California DREAM ACT o en el programa de DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) o quienes tienen estatus indocumentado. Aparte de recibir servicios de los programas de EOPS y/o CARE, los estudiantes de RISE reciben ³¦´Ç²Ô²õ±ðÂá±ð°ùò¹, asistencia financiera, apoyo de mentores de RISE, talleres de auto-crecimiento, acceso a eventos de RISE, y orientaciones programáticas.

AB 540 due to immigration status, Dreamer/DACAmented, OR Undocumented students who are taking at least 6 units at ÌÇÐÄÊÓƵ College.
Los estudiantes quienes forman parte de AB540 debido a su estatus migratorio y/o participan en el California DREAM ACT o en el programa de DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) y cursan en por lo menos 6 unidades son eligibles para el programa de RISE.

- Apply for financial aid. - Attend two counseling appointments per semester to access the following services (schedule

- Career exploration regardless of citizenship status, building an educational plan, assistance applying for scholarships, internship/volunteer opportunities, resume and cover letter assistance ·¡³æ±è±ô´Ç°ù²¹³¦¾±Ã³²Ô de carreras sin importar el estatus de ciudadania, ³¦°ù±ð²¹³¦¾±Ã³²Ô de un plan educativo, asistencia para aplicar para becas, ²úú²õ±ç³Ü±ð»å²¹ de oportunidades de empleo y servicio comunitario, asistencia para crear un resume y cover letter
